The manufacturers’ goal; to create a soap worthy of the status of being a descendant of traditional Marseille soap, modernising it whilst retaining it’s authenticity. Specialities of the region are added to the soaps, including perfumes from Grasse and organic donkey milk from a local farm to where the soaps are made. The manufacturers are a family business, passionate about their profession and attentive to current trends, meaning you get a unique blend of tradition and new originality.

Each soap is hand shaped and their production requires specific know-how by extensively trained makers.

Our family business was created in the 90s by Nicole and Bernard, in the 9th district of Marseille. Their goal, to make a product worthy of being a descendant of the traditional Marseille soap, but at the same time being more modern and fun so that solid soap can become an everyday part of modern life again, it being healthier and more wholesome than liquid soaps that are more generally used.

It can be said that they embarked on this new adventure with little knowledge, but with above all a lot of hard work and excitement. They made their first soaps in the kitchen of their family apartment and sold them at markets and fairs in the Marseille region.

The soaps were very popular and soon people wanted to resell them all over France and even abroad. It then became clear that the main focus was manufacturing the soaps and regretfully they had to stop direct contact with their customers.

A few years later, Nicole and Bernard were joined by their two sons, Sébastien, and myself. The family has continued to grow, now being composed of 12 people.

At the foot of the Garlaban mountain, between Aubagne and Marseille, the company is situated in more than 1000 m², with the manufacturing workshop on one side and the warehouse and logistics on the other.

We wanted to be able to offer all of our own soaps, as well as the traditional Marseille soaps, directly to individuals again, which we can now do with this site. We wanted to reflect the image of our company and our products; simple, fun and effective.
